South West's finest join together for collaboration dinners

Three of the South West's most exciting restaurant names are coming together this October for a unique two-part collaboration that will see Chef Ayesha Kalaji of Queen of Cups joining forces with the minds behind Lapin and BANK: Chef Jack Briggs-Horan and restaurateur and Co-Founder Dan O'Regan, bringing their distinctive culinary perspectives to two kitchens across Glastonbury and Bristol.

Guests can expect to see Ayesha’s delicious Middle Eastern flavours shine through fresh, seasonal produce, alongside the generous, produce-led cooking that has become a hallmark of Lapin and BANK, as each team takes turns to put their own unique spin on the six-course menus (below).

When Estrella Damm Chef of the Year Ayesha Kalaji (Queen of Cups) first met Executive Chef Jack Briggs-Horan and restaurant operator Dan O’Regan, they began discussing their prospective food styles and shared passion for exceptional local produce and fire cooking, and it became quickly apparent that a collaboration between them would be a match made in heaven.

And so, the plans were put in motion to bring the collaborative feasts to life…

On Thursday 8th October 2026, Ayesha will welcome Jack and the team behind acclaimed Lapin to her Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant, Queen of Cups in Glastonbury, for the first dinner, merging the skills of both teams for an evening of fun and creative cooking.

Two weeks later, on Thursday 22nd October, the tables will turn as Ayesha and the Queen of Cups team head to the much-loved BANK in Bristol, where she will join Jack and Dan for a second evening of collaborative cooking, with both teams bringing their own style to the pass for an unmissable night of food.

Both events will begin at 6:30pm with a welcome from the team, and an introduction from Nyetimber Wines’ Gemma Butterell at Queen of Cups.

Together, they will bring distinctly different let complementary perspectives to the table, Middle Eastern heritage, contemporary French cooking and fire-led South West dining – creating two completely different and unique menus designed specifically for the evenings.

Chef Ayesha Kalaji commented: “I am phenomenally excited for this collaboration. I respect Dan and Jack greatly for what they have built and for the excellent food they serve. We can (and do!) spend hours talking about food, about service, about wine and hospitality. Our passion for what we do is palpable. Finally, we have put all those countless hours of conversation into two exceptional menus. The whole experience has been an absolute delight, and I can’t wait to work alongside two people I admire so greatly.”
